			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>This week has been stupid tough and we&#8217;re only on day two! I was down for the count on Monday due to a mild case of the stomach flu and getting back into the swing of things has proven to be much more difficult than I thought it would be. I felt much better on Tuesday but, still was not able to eat much and felt a bit queezy after meals. However, I simply couldn&#8217;t miss another workout so, I pushed through PURE CARDIO &#038; CARDIO ABS!!! Needless to say, not feelin&#8217; so hot after that rotation. Tonight I was hoping for better results after a day of stuffing my face as usual without much discomfort alas, once again I suffered. </p>
<p>It&#8217;s so strange, I feel fine but I can not for the life of me, bring that power, that energy to the workouts that I was able to just last week. I&#8217;m super frustrated and really hoping that this doesn&#8217;t last too much longer. I really like to workout balls to the walls or not at all and if this keeps up I won&#8217;t be finding the same solace in my cardio workouts that I normally do. I&#8217;m nauseous.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I think that the Plyo Cardio Circuit has become my favorite day in our 6 day Insanity rotation. This workout is stupid hard! There&#8217;s a lot of jumping, a lot of ground work and because of this, a lot of sweating which (as you probably know from previous posts) really gets my motor goin&#8217;! </p>
<p>I&#8217;ve been thinking back to something my father told me when I was a wee lass. Now, first allow me to put a disclaimer on my upcoming statement, for my father was the kind of man who had an answer for everything. He&#8217;s always done a lot of reading and truly knows a little about everything in the world but, looking back, I&#8217;m not totally positive that all &#8220;facts&#8221; were indeed so. Nonetheless, I remember him telling me that when the human body is repeatedly put into a situation where it must sweat that it soon learns or trains itself to sweat more efficiently. </p>
<p>I&#8217;m not sure how much truth there was to that statement but, I can tell you that in my experience with this workout from the beginning of the program up til now my body has begun to sweat, drip sweat, and I&#8217;m talkin&#8217; out of every single pore of my body! So, I&#8217;m thinking that daddy Banker might have been dialed in on this one! More pics tomorrow as we begin week 4! Where has the time gone?!</p>

It&#8217;s like a cruel joke to have to endure the torture of Pure Cardio and then &#8220;Dig Deep&#8221; to try to get through Cardio Abs. Well, if nothing else, I got some good video tonight. Haven&#8217;t heard the audio on it yet but, you all may have the treat of hearing my hubby tell me that I &#8220;sound like an elephant&#8221;. You know what I say to that Chris? At least I don&#8217;t flail like a girly man! I&#8217;m soooo tired! </p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Holy Schmoly!!!!! Let me just begin with, I LOVE TO SWEAT! Seriously, I think that one of my very favorite things about this workout is simply the amount of sweat that pours, literally, pours out of my body! Tonight was the first time that the schedule called for doubling up and doing the Cardio Abs workout on top of our regularly scheduled routine. . .amazing! I had so much fun, it really motivated me for the next month and a half. Can&#8217;t wait to see our results!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>It&#8217;s strange how much one can forget in one week. Although I know that I&#8217;ve done all these workouts, I&#8217;m still stumbling through the first few minutes of each Insanity workout trying to recall what tortures lay ahead. So, Cardio Recovery, week 2 edition. . .all I have to say is Cardio Recovery MY ASS!!! This one&#8217;s a trixie little workout it is. It starts out so calm, simple really then, about mid workout, there are some insane deep yoga poses that absolutely kill! It&#8217;s always strange when a &#8220;simple&#8221; stretch makes you pant and sweat. Anyways, I&#8217;m more than ready to get back to cardio manana!  </p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>It was a sad, lonely couple of nights. The hubs was fightin&#8217; his demons. . .migraines and the illness that has been following this family around like the plague since the beginning of December. But tonight, no more! Chris, although still feeling a bit under the weather, finally grew a pair and met me in our gym (er, our living room) for a wicked Plyometric Cardio Circuit. I can most definitely feel an improvement from our first week of Insanity. I don&#8217;t cramp up during the warm up anymore and I&#8217;m completing much more of the body of the workout than I was able to just a week ago. </p>
<p>I have to wonder though, I have always been a cardio kind of gal, it&#8217;s kept me pretty thin and it&#8217;s always been a great outlet for me as far as being able to unload some of the junk knocking around in my brain. In fact, P90X was the first muscle building regiment that I completed in my life. So, what do I have to gain from this workout? There&#8217;s no way that I will end up looking like any of the girls in the Insanity workout. Those girls are fitness professionals who spend their entire day working out. So, what do I have to look forward to? Weight loss? I can see some definition in my abs but, an educated guesstimate at my end result, your guess is as good as mine! So, I&#8217;ll keep ya&#8217;ll posted. </p>

<p>OMG! I can&#8217;t believe that we are one week down!  Not to say that I am gliding through this workout effortlessly but, I can definitely feel an improvement from just a mere 6 days ago when the hubs and I first stumbled, gasped, and weazed through our fit test. In fact, I think that I finally made it through the warm up (yes, I said <em>warm up</em>!) without having to take a serious breather. After years and years of doing primarily cardio driven workouts at the gym I am realizing that nothing that I have ever done has been this challenging cardiovascularly and I hoping that, in return, I&#8217;ll get in rockin&#8217; shape by the end of two months! Day of rest tomorrow and then, on to week two! Yeehaw!</p>
