Week 3 – Day 6 – Plyo Cardio Circuit

I think that the Plyo Cardio Circuit has become my favorite day in our 6 day Insanity rotation. This workout is stupid hard! There’s a lot of jumping, a lot of ground work and because of this, a lot of sweating which (as you probably know from previous posts) really gets my motor goin’!

I’ve been thinking back to something my father told me when I was a wee lass. Now, first allow me to put a disclaimer on my upcoming statement, for my father was the kind of man who had an answer for everything. He’s always done a lot of reading and truly knows a little about everything in the world but, looking back, I’m not totally positive that all “facts” were indeed so. Nonetheless, I remember him telling me that when the human body is repeatedly put into a situation where it must sweat that it soon learns or trains itself to sweat more efficiently.

I’m not sure how much truth there was to that statement but, I can tell you that in my experience with this workout from the beginning of the program up til now my body has begun to sweat, drip sweat, and I’m talkin’ out of every single pore of my body! So, I’m thinking that daddy Banker might have been dialed in on this one! More pics tomorrow as we begin week 4! Where has the time gone?!
