Week 1 – Day 6 – Plyo Cardio Circuit

Week 1 Down! Wuhh wut, wuuh wut…

Almost did the ab workout on accident as it was the next video in line – good thing I checked the calendar. Plyo it is – and twice in one week, which was kind of cool considering it made it a tad easier to compare the intensity of each and my progress so far. I was a bit surprised to see that I actually made some – progress that is. My heart rate didn’t hit quite so high and the exercises didn’t debilitate me to the level they did on day 2 – not saying I wasn’t on the floor, but maybe to a bit less of a degree this time. I still replaced some of the upper body/shoulder stuff with less migraine taunting alternatives, but that’s a price I’m willing to pay at this point.

I never was much for cardio – the most of which consisted of a 5 minute jog on the treadmill before lifting, or the cardio workouts I allowed myself to complete in P90X. For some reason the workouts in Insanity are invigorating – maybe it’s the brutal personal challenge they present or the results I already notice…who knows. Planning on adding some videos to these diaries for next week so stay tuned foos
