Week 1 – Day 4 – Cardio Recovery
Recovery wasn’t quite the most appropriate use of the word here, but the break in heart rate abuse was nice to say the least. To augment the lack of high intensity the recovery pushed some deep stretching with long holds on some nasty squats that made my legs beg for a chair a few times, and some lunges that made me tear up on a couple occasions. Still, I’ll take that over the two workouts so far – and even over the fit test fo sho. A couple of the stretches contorted me in some funky ways that may have thrown my shoulder out a bit, which considering my aptitude for migranies I feel a bit nervous, so keeping an eye out for repercussions over the next day.
