Token annual post
Well, it’s been a considerably long time since I graced this blog with my presence and felt it necessary to do so today for no reason at all. One year ago, or one year and 2 months to be exact, marks the last posting. I am ashamed, albeit modestly, for such an absence and I plan to make grandiose exclamations of my future attempts to keep the content flowing, while probably failing miserably in the follow through.
Where have I been, what have I been doing, who have I been doing… what Dirty blog.
School has been interesting to say the least - the teachers span a broad quality range and can be anything from fantastic to gutter trash. Fortunately I have only encountered a couple of the latter, and I suppose those are there to keep it interesting. In two weeks I will officially have my associates degree and within a year or so my bachelor’s - that is no small feat considering that I graduated high school 8 years ago and I’m expecting my second kid in July ( a daughter!).
My wife has been eternally supportive, only occasionally inserting her own personal desire to go back to school, and I may even consider allowing her to do so - just kidding. I may be a dictator, but I will certainly promote a decent education even for woman. [Cough cough - slap]
Work has been a fulfilling journey towards strengthening my development skills and honing the resume - the Google-like atmosphere keeps the staff happy and partially counters the frustration of back to back upgrades. I actually enjoy my job for the most part, which is much more than I can say for almost every job I’ve had in the past. Now if they could only relocate away from the subzero arctic climate to something more favorable to the wife and I.
